About the Editor

Fast, creative and friendly editor with nearly 20 years broadcast experience, happy working with either Avid, FCP7, and now Adobe Premiere. My expertise lies mainly in long-form factual entertainment, documentary, current affairs, reality and educational programming, with a knack for transforming your footage into captivating stories rich in humour, drama and sensitivity. I have a strong editorial eye with a confident grasp of potential compliance issues. I am comfortable working on my own initiative but also enjoy collaborating alongside a director, and with a calm demeanour I am used to keeping my cool in pressured environments. After a couple of years concentrating on building my offline credits, I am now once again offering online editing services, including colour grading, on Avid Symphony and FCP7. Credits since December 2013 include Tonight, Show Me The Telly, Weight Loss Ward, Coronation Street: A Moving Story and the BAFTA nominated The Miners' Strike & Me. I love what I do and relish the new challenges each project brings. I live in central Manchester, but am willing to undertake projects further afield throughout the UK or overseas.
